Chirrupping really is easy. You don’t need to have special skills, but there's just a couple of things to bear in mind ... We can’t accept anything you don’t hold the copyright to, so please don’t submit other peoples’ music or words ... no offensive material please; we won’t knowingly accept hate speak or anything inciting violence ... We would like best to hear your voice; we’d love to hear you speak, sing, hum, whistle, chuckle or otherwise express yourself.

So if you're reading this page on a device that can record audio, we can most probably accept a recording from it - however we can't test all possible combinations of devices and formats, so if you have problems using the upload form, please feel free to share your recording by emailing it to us via

(*) please note : we have a maximum upload filesize limit of 20mb so if you're using a non-compessed format such as .wav or .aiff this will limit your chirrup to approximately 2 minutes duration - to upload anything longer than that, please use one of the other available (compressed) formats, such as .mp3 or .m4a (commonly found on desktop computers and smart-phones).
